Hatsy & Noah | Islesboro Maine Wedding

Hatsy and Noah were married on the absolutely gorgeous island of Islesboro, off the coast of Camden harbor.  It was my first time riding the 30 minute car ferry to this well kept secret off Maine’s Midcoast.  I’d heard of several famous residents including Kirstie Alley and John Travolta, and now understand why they chose to live on this pristine, postcard-perfect island.

Upon my arrival, the weather was not wedding friendly to say the least.  A thick fog encompassed the cove where the wedding was to be held.  Despite less than the deal conditions, Hatsy and Noah chose to brave the elements and get married outside, overlooking the ocean at her parents residence.  Following the ceremony, we grabbed a few photos in the field.  The couple made their arrival to the tent where they dazzled guests with a choreographed dance. Then, just after several warm and humorous speeches, something amazing happened.  The fog lifted, making way for some of the most amazing light I’ve had the pleasure to photograph in.  I immediately escorted the couple away from the party for a few misty sunlit portraits around the property.  After I was certain we had a few good ones, it was back to the tent for parent dances and a memorable and energetic hora!  For the remainder of the reception, the Time Pilots played some incredible tunes for the entertaining crowd.  To cap it off, the band let Hatsy shine on her special day, handing her the bass to rock out to a tune .. so much fun!

Amazing Island Wedding!  Congrats Hatsy and Noah!  You were a true pleasure to work with.
