Libby + Ari // A Tupper Manor Wedding // Beverly, MA

I originally met Libby and Ari during their fall Boston engagement session. We walked around their neighborhood and through the Esplanade by the Charles River, grabbing portraits along the way. They were very sweet and I could tell from this first meeting that I would love shooting their Tupper Manor Wedding. Fast-forward to September 2016 and the big day has arrived. A peach theme is carried throughout the venue – from floral arrangements to the cake to the actual peaches on the tables, it was a beautiful site. The couple chose to do a first look in order to spend more time with guests during the cocktail hour. The expression on Ari’s face as he sees Libby for the first time speaks volumes about their love. This connection carried throughout the day, during the beautiful outdoor ceremony, the emotional speeches and our sunset stroll on the beach. The reception was the definition of fun. When you book one of Boston’s best bands, Clockwork, you are guaranteed to dance you’re a$$ off. And dance they did – on chairs (hora), with grandparents, with friends, and with each other. A beautiful wedding indeed. Best wishes Libby and Ari!

A word from the bride: Ari’s from San Francisco and I’m a native New Englander, but we met while studying at Oxford in 2009. We were tempted to have a destination wedding in England, but settled for serving Pimm’s cocktails here in Massachusetts instead.
